Wedding | Sammy & Andrew | Arnold Arboretum

Bride and Groom Portrait Arnold Arboretum

Sammy and Andrew celebrated their wedding in September of 2019. Toward the end of last season, I had taken on some projects that placed blogging smaller celebrations on the back-burner. This week I am dedicating my blog to celebrating these couples!

In a way, I am happy that these wedding posts were delayed so I could share these love stories now as 2020 brides are returning to the drawing board and considering celebrations similar in scale. I want you all to know that small gatherings are beautiful in so many ways.

Sammy and Andrew's Arthur Arboretum Wedding was one of a few celebrations on their "wedding party train" from coast to coast. With fifteen of their family members and closest friends huddled in field, Sammy and Andrew traded rings and exchanged vows. What I loved most about this wedding was how intimate it felt. Each member of the group had a moment to share advice, a story, or an anecdote before Sammy and Andrew said "I Do."

Larger weddings don't typically create this type of opportunity, for each guest to be heard and share how much the couple means to them. This gathering was truly about Sammy and Andrew and I was honored to witness it.
