When people hear that I’m a wedding photographer, they might expect me to be a hard-core romantic with a penchant for sepia-toned photos and Regency-era romance novels. But, I’m more of a “hell yeah!” photographer who mixes up the traditional shots with images of the happy couple on the dance floor showered by confetti, glitter, and champagne.

As you can probably tell, I enjoy having fun while creating, so I make sure my clients feel comfortable and have fun, too–even if it means playing games, dancing, singing, or embarrassing myself a little.

I'm Andrea

My career in photography began in college second shooting and assisting a number of Boston based photographers. Shortly after graduating from Bentley University, I chose to pursue creativity over analytics and launched Brass Tacks Photography.

My off-season is spent in the mountains skiing, my summer days are spent splashing off the shores of the NH Seacoast, and my week-day mornings begin by breaking a sweat in a gym. Staying active is the best way for me to stay strong and alert on the days I am chasing your big moments!

I will always insist that you bring your furry friend along for your session!

I am the youngest of 3.

Before going full time, I licensed artwork on jigsaw puzzles for an international puzzle brand.

I am a "retired" competitive swimmer.
