Gathering the little things for your Wedding Detail Box

Whether you're keeping your details simple, or you are carrying a collection of heirlooms down the aisle, gathering all the carefully chosen details from your wedding in a portable bag or box saves you and your photographer time and stress on your wedding day.

Not only does this keep everything safely in one place so you do not lose them, but you can rest easy aware that you know where all of the pretty little things are. This also saves your photographer time when designing your detail photos so they can jump in to covering your wedding day experience sooner!

We recommend putting together a box for both parties.

Here are some things you may want to consider keeping in your detail box:

1. YOUR STATIONARY:

Dropping in two copies of your invitations, save the dates, brochures, menus, thank you notes or other stationary accessories provides us with materials to arrange along side your pretty little things.

2. YOUR VOWS:

I can't think of a prettier way to memorialize the promises you'll exchange at the altar than by including them in your wedding photos. These are a great alternative or addition to your stationary. 3. YOUR WEDDING RINGS:

That sparkly shiney thing you are sliding onto your new spouse's third finger is the perfect symbol of your love and promises, with no beginning and no end. There is a lot of thought that goes into your choices for your ring that are personal to you and are the cherry on top of your detail photos.

4. HEIRLOOMS, MEMORY PINS, OR TRADITIONAL ITEMS:

It may be your grandmother's bible or scarf, a locket photo of a loved one lost, an heirloom ring, or a penny in your shoe. If there is something special you plan to carry with you in your march down the aisle leave it to us to call attention to it.

5. PERFUME / COLOGNE:

Whether you are known for a specific scent, or wearing something special for the day. Capturing your choice of fragrance can ignite more than one sence in your photos.

6. FLORALS:

Asking your florist to bring your bouquet and boutineers to the suite adds delicate pops of color and freshness to your detail photos.
