Meet

ANDREA

My name is Andrea. I am a wedding and portrait photographer serving New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and beyond.

Having grown up in New England, I am an intense fan of competition, lover of the outdoors, and admirer of the beautiful seasons we have the privilege to enjoy.

The work that I am most proud of are the photographs where I have collaborated with my clients to tell their story, their way, through my images. My work is a combination of documentary styled candids as well as traditional portraiture.

My career in photography began in college second shooting and assisting a number of Boston based photographers. Shortly after graduating from Bentley University, I chose to pursue creativity over analytics and launched Brass Tacks Photography.

My Philosophy

Photography is what I am passionate about and I am honored that you have chosen me to tell your story. I believe creativity comes easiest when I am relaxed and inspired and this is how I want my clients to feel when they are working with me. I am here to help you prepare for your session by answering any questions you may have and helping you determine timelines. I promise to cheer you on, make you smile, bust a move on the dance floor, or shed a happy tear with you during a first look.

Outside of photography, I work as a Product Development Manager for a German puzzle company!

Licensing imagery for jigsaw puzzles allows me to work with artists and photographers that inspire me each and every day.

My off-season is spent in the mountains skiing, my summer days are spent splashing off the shores of Cape Cod, and my week-day mornings begin by breaking a sweat in a gym.

Staying active is the best way for me to stay strong and alert on the days I am chasing your big moments!

I am the youngest of 3 girls and cannot have asked for a more supportive family.

From referrals to standing in as models when I need to practice new techniques, I am lucky to have these four on my team!

One of my favorite ways to spend free time is exploring this beautiful planet of ours.

Whether it is a short trip to a local coastal town or mountain trail, or a larger adventure overseas. I am always excited to experience new things.

My favorite creatures on this planet are dogs. I cannot imagine life without these four-legged friends!

If you are wondering whether or not you should bring your favorite fuzzball to your photo-session, my answer is always YES!
